Power to the Peeps: A Romney Family Vacation

Every year for the last 6 years, The Washington Post has hosted a contest called the "Peeps Show" in which people create little scenes using Peeps candies as characters. Check out one of this year's entries, called "A Romney Family Vacation."

Created by Colleen Canning of Jacksonville, Florida, the entry was a semi-finalist in the contest.

"The diorama depicts a vacation the Romney family -- Mitt, Ann, their five young sons and the family dog, an Irish Setter named Seamus -- took in 1983," Ms. Canning describes. "While most of the family enjoyed the 12-hour road trip from the interior of the wood-paneled station wagon, Mitt placed poor Seamus in a pet carrier on top of the family’s station wagon for the entire trip from Boston to the family’s cottage on the shores of Lake Huron in Ontario."

Colleen, we think your entry should have won. Well done!
